It's not new that the fashion industry and it's designers have chosen the Sex Appeal to market their products several times. Since Vogue is Vogue and Madonna has become a material girl... But why does it work every time? Or why wouldn't it work? Let me know your opinion...

Fashion Review: It's not only plastic shoes...

Melissa shoes are originally from Brazil and now being exported to 36 countries all over the world. Why are this plastic shoes so "wanted"? The Idea of having normal shoes with trendy designs but made of plastic, like the Barbie doll shoes is very interesting and exciting. As it seems every fashion-conscious girl wants to have a Melissa on they wardrobe and No! They are not only little plastic shoes but they are also comfortable ready-to-wear shoes and you can find one for every occasion. The fact that they are made of plastic doesn't mean that they are not suitable to wear at a more formal evening dinner, for example. And that is what is so cool about the whole idea. They have had partnerships with big names on the fashion industry, such as Alexandre Herchcovitch and Vivienne Westwood. Switch from foundation to tinted moisturizer
Generally speaking our skin improves in the summer as the sun and humidity clears up dull skin, acne-prone skin, and sallowness. Therefore a medium-to-full coverage foundation is probably overkill and might exacerbate clogged pores or oiliness. Try a tinted moisturizer instead, which will impart a subtle glow. Look for a tinted moisturizer that suits your skin's needs:

Normal: Clinique Almost Makeup SPF 15
Dry/Normal: Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20
Oily: Almay Smart Shade SPF 15 or Laura Geller Barely There Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

Zara we have a problem?

The giant Zara is known for delivering clothes with designer looks at affordable prices but sometimes the spanish copycat goes a little too far! As we all know blogs and it's writers have become a passion for all the fashionistas and wanna be's, so Zara have created T-shirts with the face of blogger Pandora on it! The result? As it seems the blogger is not very happy with the free disclosure of her image and we totally understand why!

The Devil wears Zara

This morning I received the june Lookbook for Womenswear by Zara. As a surprise I like not only a few pieces from the 15 looks in this collection but many of them I would like to have for myself. The summer looks appear to be very fresh and quite day to day or day to night casual. Some of the pieces are very 'inspired' in others designer labels as Miu Miu. One trend that is very noticeable on the book is the clogs with socks, the formula shoes + socks is far from being a new trend but we love it anyways.

So Juicy!

Have any of you seen the latest collection from the american brand Juicy Couture? They have some of the cutest bags in the world and there is a few that I would like to share with all of you. Many celebrities have been spotted with them and I personally think that if worn with moderation it is a very nice, fresh and cute accessory!

Hello

Before all of you die of boredom without my daily updates, I'm back! So don't you worry... Really I was extremely busy deciding things with my agency and also I had a photo-shoot with Canadian photographer Jessie Craig, which I enjoyed very very much and did not have time to sit down and write for a minute.

So lets start with Sex and the city 2, although I was non-stop last week, what I didn't miss out was this movie. For those who didn't see it yet I won't tell how the story ends or what its about but what I can still say is: The looks are just as well articulate or even better than the first movie of Sex and the city and Although Carrie Bradshaw was such a bitch to Charlotte in Abu Dhabi, I still love you Carrie!


World Cup is knocking on our door and as a real brazilian that I am, I have already ordered my official world cup top to support my country. Wanna see it? Here it goes...
